So many restaurants to choose from on Piazza Navona, I just took a shot at this one because it was the closest and looked pretty decent.
Meal
Croissant with butter and apricot jam. It was slightly heated, which was a perfect temperature for the butter to just melt on a hot day.
Cost of meal:
11 Euros
Wine and beverages
Caffe Americano x2
Freshly squeezed orange juice. It was literally just squeezed, it still had the pulp and the odd pip. It was quite thick which was nice.
Atmosphere and decor
Formal. They used chair coverings and double table cloths in a white and lilac motif. Sunshades were available outside.
Dress code
Suits or casual wear. It appeared to be for both tourists, families, and business men.
Locality
Piazza Navona. Relaxed atmosphere. It had the feel of a steady pace to the place. The area was full of artists, tourists and families. This was one of many restaurants in the area.
Service
Very good. Staff are helpful and eager to please. They dress formal with long aprons from the waist down. They all speak excellent English and will happily suggest an alternative if they don't have what you want on the menu. They did seem quite busy so once you've ordered your initial meal you had to get their attention, however they were still very prompt. They respect your privacy.
Other remarks
It was a lovely area to sit and relax, it had a very relaxing atmosphere to it. I felt quite at home here.
