An Italian restaurant which serves travellers at Gatwick Airport’s departure lounge. Providing Italian styled food and cakes for both eating in and taking out to your flight. Great if you want real food on your flight rather than the plastic overpriced stuff sold on EasyJet.
Meal
I had the Sicilian tuna fusilli, with a glass of un-oaked Chardonnay di Puglia. The fusili and tuna were delicious but the portion size was far too small for the price. I also bought the danish pastry as a dessert and a took a carrot cake slice for the flight.
Atmosphere and decor
Loverly atmosphere, with busy travellers and their trolly bags parked by their tables The room and furniture was all decorated with old chunky pieces of recycled solid wood giving a warm cosy and relaxed feel but the chairs were as hard as stone. Couldn’t sit too long which was just as well as I had a flight to catch
Dress code
Whatever you might be travelling in - basically anything from shorts to suits.
Locality
Gatwick Airport North terminal.
Service
Smart efficient and polite service. The waiters know you are on the clock and have a flight to take so they are pretty quick taking the orders and bringing the food.
