A hip place on the top of a hill looking out over the whole of Paphos city. Relaxing seating with great views and cool shade. The place to find the local young fashionistas on date night and business men at lunch time.
Meal
I had a Club sandwich which was over run with delicious chips. The chicken, cheese and bacon filled sandwich tasted better than it looked. The accompanying salad was fresh and very ample with a range of ingredients.
Cost of meal:
€13
Wine and beverages
I had an Ice cold Peroni beer which cooled me right down in the hot afternoon.
Atmosphere and decor
Stylish and modern chic, black marble and aluminum tables, chairs have cushions so are very comfortable fo lounging the night or day away. Near the outside veranda there are white garden style furniture to relax in under the sun or shade. Olive and Carab trees are scattered around he edge of the veranda. Inside is are retro modern 70s style tables and chairs with large bar.
The ambiance is generally quite with the gentle sound of the traffic in the city down below. There is a low volume background music which does not prevent you talking. In general a very relaxing place to meet for lunch or dinner.
Dress code
Very casual to smart, neither is out of place as it is too hot. Lunch time brings white shirted business diners.
Locality
Perched on top of a high point over looking Paphos and the sea beyond. It is predominately frequented by local Cypriots as it is hidden away in non-tourist area.
Service
Smart young hip waiters all dressed in black shirts and trousers. Service is very efficient, polite and professional and training is excellent
